Through a Scanner Farkly

Fark Fiction Anthologies
Not the best shot ever, but it will do for now. 2016 on the left, 2017 on the right.

|| Well, this is a bit embarrassing, but I totally forgot to let all of you know that one of my stories was published in the 2017 Fark Fiction Anthology, Through a Scanner Farkly.  My story is called

“Awkward Vitae” and it’s about a very British patent attorney who is a bit under-prepared in dealing with a wee dram of Aqua Vitae, aka the Water of Life.  It’s a humorous one, which is always a challenge, but I think it works pretty damn well.

I didn’t just contribute as an author though, I was also part of the volunteers who read all the submissions and voted on which ones would make it in.  So I have read every story in there at least twice, and I am proud of the company I’m in. The stories cover a range or emotions across and are organized by genre.  Humor, SciFi, Fantasy, and Mystery/Suspense/Horror are all very well represented, and I would highly recommend you check it out.

Finally, while my story didn’t make the cut in the inaugural 2016 Fark Fiction Anthology, Heart of Farkness, I would highly recommend it too.  (This one I did remember to write about!)

Replies, especially critiques, are strongly encouraged by the establishment.
